When Kelly McGinnis appears back, the continuing thread by means of her lifetime is feeding other folks.

McGinnis fondly remembers her grandmother’s cafe days, 1st at The Patio Club and later with Bits of Britain. Seeing her mom and grandmother put together and serve ease and comfort foods that kept persons coming again helped inspire her, but until eventually this year she never saw herself possessing her personal area. 

Commencing in January, she and her partner, Pat McGinnis, opened Kelly’s Pot Pies & More. Soon after practically two a long time jogging the deli at Classy Farmer, she made a decision she wanted her very own business enterprise. She is cooking and advertising a assortment of pot pies, cheesecakes, lemon torte, cookies and other baked products from a business kitchen at The Venue, 2645 Main St., in East Troy. 

Hours for curbside pickup and wander-ins are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. McGinnis is on the lookout for an expanded spot, with designs to lengthen her hours in the foreseeable future.
