GREENSBURG – It is fair time, and time to get these 4-H jobs exhibited.

4-H and the fair have often been component of our family’s summer time. Charles and I ended up 4-H members back again when, and some of our close friends now. We satisfied in 4-H. All our young children ended up 4-H users and had been pretty active with reveals, contests, and outings. That was a good working experience for them. All our grandchildren were in 4-H also. We even now have a single granddaughter in 4-H, and now we have two great grandchildren in 4-H. I guess we have generally been a 4-H relatives. Probably that is why I go on to show in the Open Class every calendar year. i just enjoying having items to the good, whether or not I get or not isn’t significant.

Well, I got all my peaches canned and frozen. I also built peach jam and, of program, we had pie, shortcake and fresh peaches on ice product.

Previous week, I obtained some eco-friendly beans from the Farmers Current market so I canned them. They were being pretty good. I just might go back and get some extra. My daughter brought me some squash also, so I will you a number of recipes employing some of them, and also peaches.

Stir-Fried Zucchini

1 lb. sliced zucchini

1 minced garlic clove

2 T. olive oil

Summertime Squash Pound Cake
